Caltrans FTP Certification Process

Request FTP Certification using a Prime Contractor Contract with Caltrans via the Caltrans Form CEM-4905 at the top of Page 2 – Check File Transfer Protocol.
Contractor file transfers two bills – one good and one bad – to the certification site via EWBills
Caltrans receive and runs it thru their test
Caltrans notifies the Contractor to check the Error Log
Contractor checks the FTP Manager to find the error log file and views it for reported errors
Contractor fixes the BAD bill and resubmits the fixed bill
Caltrans check it again to make sure all is fine
If all is good – Caltrans issues a new FTP account to the Contractor
Contractor updated EWBills with this account information or forwards email to us (Nice Touch Solutions) and we update your system for you.
You are ready to submit extra work bills to Caltrans – That is it.
